The Former Indian Ambassador to Thailand

On The Teachings of the Buddha
And the World Tipiṭaka Project by Dhamma Society Fund

...India has had many noble souls but the Lord Buddha is certainly the noblest out of all of them. The greatest is the light that he has shed throughout the world by his teachings, by his sayings, these are the things that do need to be propagated in today's world..

The relevance of His sayings are eternal, and they are not any in particular time-frame, and they are not restricted by that. They are going to be relevant as long as humankind is on face of this Earth.

Therefore, any effort being done, and I really must pay my complement to His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch, and above all that, to His Majesty the King, for encouraging the propagation the thoughts of Lord Buddha not only that they are preserved in Thailand, but they are propagated elsewhere. The is the message which really needs to go out today.
