1. Princess Galyani Vadhana later suggested to the Dhamma Society to
present the World Tipiṭaka to institutions abroad first following the
royal gifts of King Chulachomklao which were presented to over 260
institutions in over 30 countries a century ago.
2. Collaboration among business and IT community to organise the
inaugural presentation of the World Tipiṭaka abroad which is to be
graciously presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana
of Thailand.

May It Please Your Royal Highness :
On behalf of all business people, technology experts and distinguished guests attending here, I would like to express our delighted elation in learning that Thailand was the first nation in the history to print the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka in 39-Volume set. This historic printing of Buddhist sacred text was accomplished by the intellectual and spiritual initiation of King Chulalongkorn of Siam, the Great Dhamma Protector, who is Your Royal Highness’s August Grandfather.
Today we have also learned that 111 years ago our ancestors had applied the most modern technology of their time when printing the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka, the profound intellectual heritage of mankind, and generously presented this momentous work as a “Gift of Dhamma” to the world. Without doubt, everyone attending today is very proud that Thailand was capable of offering the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka in a “Siam-script edition” to the world; and that we today are in the process of following in the King’s royal footsteps with the printing of the Pāḷi Tipiṭaka in a “Roman-script edition”, which will soon be presented to the world.
On this occasion, which is considered a significant date in our national history, all businesspeople and technology experts are all invited to join hands in applying modern technology to the development of “Dhamma Technology” in order to preserve the spiritual wisdom in the Tipiṭaka for the benefit and happiness of the world, in this technological age.
At this important and auspicious occasion we would like to sincerely beg Your Royal Highness, with your kind and gracious virtue, to be our guide and inspiration in this endeavour, enabling the Thais to achieve once again the deliverance of this most invaluable heritage of the forthcoming Pāḷi Tipiṭaka in Roman script to the world.
